Capri Everitt will sing all 16 national anthems when teams step on to the court for the first time in Liverpool.
World record-holding singer Capri Everitt will sing all 16 national anthems when teams step on to the court for the first time in Liverpool.
Aged just 14, Everitt is already a Guinness World Record-holding singer/songwriter for the “most national anthems sung in their host countries in one year” as well as a Global Youth Ambassador.
She received international acclaim and worldwide media attention when she travelled to 80 countries to sing each national anthem in their native language in aid of orphaned and abandoned children.
Everitt will perform on the world stage for the first three days of the tournament – the 12- 14 July, introducing teams as they take to the court for their opening match.
Everitt has just released her first pop single “New York in My Mind” and is thrilled to be the official anthem singer for the Vitality Netball World Cup:
“I am so excited to be involved with a tournament highlighting such a popular sport played by girls around the world.”
