When does the tournament take place?
The Netball World Cup 2019 will take place from 12-21 July 2019. The competition schedule will be announced ahead of tickets going on sale. In the meantime you can Join Our Club to make sure you’re the first to find out the latest news.
Where is the event taking place?
The Netball World Cup 2019 is taking place at the ACC Liverpool, England, with the competition taking place in the Echo Arena on the site. The iconic city of Liverpool will play host as we welcome the world for 10 thrilling days of competition.
Which teams will be playing?
16 teams will qualify for the Netball World Cup 2019. This includes the host nation (England), the top five teams in the International Netball Federation (INF) world rankings as of July 2018 and two teams from each of the five INF netball regions (Africa, Asia, Americas, Europe and Oceania). These 10 teams will qualify through Regional Qualifier events.

When will the teams be announced?
The teams who will automatically qualify for the Netball World Cup 2019 due to their INF world ranking will be confirmed in July 2018. The full list of qualified teams will be officially confirmed in September 2018. Further information about the qualification process and Regional Qualifier events is available here.
How many games will be played per day/session?
There will be 60 matches played throughout the 10-day tournament. The competition schedule will be announced in the summer of 2018, with the final teams confirmed in September 2018. In the meantime you can Join Our Club to make sure you’re the first to find out the latest news.
There will be two courts in the arena for the first four days of the competition (12-15 July), with games being played simultaneously.
When will teams be playing?
The competition schedule will be announced in September 2018, once the final teams have been confirmed through the regional qualifying events.
England and the top five ranked teams in the world, automatically qualify for the tournament and will be confirmed on 2 July 2018.
You will be able to choose tickets for the sessions containing games featuring these six teams at the Preliminaries: Stage One phase of the competition when tickets go on pre-sale in July.
Will the event be televised?
We are currently working on finalising broadcast arrangements for the event. Further information will be made available once these have been confirmed.
How do I purchase a fan package?
Fan packages will include tickets, accommodation, a merchandise voucher and a special fan experience event and are available through our Official Travel Office partner, Gullivers Sports Travel and their appointed travel agents.

Fan packages are only available for a selection of teams and matches at this stage, due to the competition format and qualification process. The full competition schedule is set to be confirmed in September 2018 following the final regional qualifying event in Singapore and additional fan packages may be available at this point.
A range of hospitality packages will be available for the Netball World Cup 2019. Hospitality is set to go on sale in summer 2018 and the meantime you can Join Our Club to make sure you’re the first to find out more.
How do I get to Liverpool?
Liverpool has fantastic transport links and is easily reached from all parts of the UK and the rest of the world. With two international airports close by (Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester), frequent trains to London that take little over two hours, and a short 20 minute drive from the motorway, getting to Liverpool couldn’t be easier.

How can I become a volunteer at the event?
Volunteers will play a very important role at Netball World Cup 2019 and we will be recruiting approximately 450 people to help us stage this event. To apply to volunteer at the event you need to express your interest by 31 July 2018 by registering here and ticking the box for volunteering.
