Netball World Cup 2019 has announced health and life insurance and investments provider, Vitality, as its title sponsor for next year’s tournament in Liverpool.
Having sold over 74,000 tickets, the Vitality Netball World Cup is set to be one of the hottest sporting events of 2019.
Vitality recently announced a three-year extension of its partnership with England Netball in one of the largest deals in women’s sport in the UK. The company is also the title sponsor of the Vitality Netball Superleague – the UK’s top-level netball competition featuring teams across England, Scotland and Wales – and the Vitality Netball International Series.
The title sponsorship of the Vitality Netball World Cup further strengthens Vitality’s commitment to netball and supports its aim of partnering with sports teams, athletes and events to inspire people to live healthier lives.
Nicky Dunn OBE, Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 Chair, said: “We’re thrilled to have Vitality on board as our title sponsor. Vitality has been a loyal supporter of netball for a number of years, so it’s great to be teaming up together for this historic sporting event. Since England’s Gold Coast win, netball has really been gripping the nation and the attraction of such stand-out supporters and sponsors is a reflection of how exciting the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 is going to be.”
Neville Koopowitz, CEO of Vitality, added: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Vitality Netball World Cup 2019, which further strengthens our commitment to the continuing growth of the game following the renewal of our partnership with England Netball and the Vitality Roses for three more years. The Vitality Netball World Cup 2019 promises to be an incredible event and we can’t wait to watch all the action next summer.”
