Children are being invited to design the mascot for next year’s Netball World Cup.
The mascot will be the life and soul of the party, welcoming spectators from around the world, starting the Mexican waves and getting our fans excited to witness the world’s best netball players take to the court.
To enter the competition, children are being asked to pick up their pens, get creative and submit their design for the tournament’s mascot. Our winning designer will be invited to walk out alongside the mascot and the world’s best netball players at the opening ceremony on the 12 July next year.
We know our young netball family has the creativity to come up with some great ideas for how our mascot should look so we’re super excited to see what the winning design will be. More information on the competition and how to enter can be found here
Entries will be open from Friday 12 October until Monday 5 November 2018. England Roses player Jade Clarke and Netball World Cup 2019 Event Director, Lindsay Impett will make up part of the judging panel.
